I am a christian, and a conservative, and I would be lying if I told you that I wasn't worried about where our country is going, the fact is we as a moral group are losing our ability to preserve our belief structure. For instance, when it comes to homosexual marriage, people seem to forget that the idea of marriage was founded in religion, God created this institution between a man and a woman for the purpose of love protection support and to be able to produce children to be raised in a strong and loving home, filled with principle and tradition and a consistent understanding of the Christian principles that we cling to for the glorification of God. Now that we have looked at the Christian marriage, lets take a look at a homosexual marriage, homosexuals generally have the best intentions in mind as well, they want the same things, love protection, and a loving home filled with marrital strength. The problem lies in being able to produce children of there own, now granted not everyone in a regular relationship between a man and a woman has the ability to produce either, but if you put them in the ideal state, this man and this woman, with all natural ability restored... they would produce beautiful children. Where as on the other hand, if you took two lesbians, and put them in a perfect state where both of their bodies work perfectly for the production of children, they would be unable to produce, they are unable to become one flesh. How could this be? They love each other! They support and protect each other as well! What kind of God would not allow two people to love each other? Well the thing is, we can love whoever we want at anytime, God didn't tell us that we could love only the one woman that he has chosen for us, no we love our parents, we love our friends, and sometimes we even love strangers and show them kindness, because we know naturally that it is better to love that to hate. There are some perverted minds out there who have been raised in horrible situations, and only want to hate whoever they come a crossed, but that is something I'll have to unpack another time. Here is the issue that I have with gay marriage, homosexuals want God to recognize them as an acceptable relationship filled with morals and natural love that was not of their making but Gods making. And that's just not true, we find evidence of my reason in Genisis 2:23 " And the man said, this one at last is bone of my bone and flesh of my flesh, this one will be called woman for she was taken out of man. 24 this is why a man leaves his father and his mother and bonds to his wife, and they become one flesh."
God didn't write "Except in California where I have noticed a lot of homosexuals, really dig each other, and want to engage in a nonproductive marriage!"
We need to except the fact that Christians (at least Christians with any guts) will not stoop to this level, will not ignore the rules and ideals that God has set forth, homosexuals believe that they have the right to love each other? That's fine! I believe that I have the right to believe in a union that is between a man and a woman, and that if homosexuals want to be married fine let them come up with their own type of marriage document, but don't try and make us believe that it is except able before God and his children, because it's not! That would be social oppression.
My marriage document(The bible) has everything to say about a man and a woman loving each other, but it says nothing about homosexuals loving each other, because it doesn't have to, God knows it won't work he created everything, he knows! Sometimes we just can't stand the thought of having to be under an all powerful God. So to our homosexual brothers and sisters please, if you don't like the channel, change the station, because I know that a majority of the united states along with me are not about to change our belief structure just because your upset.
Speaking of channels, my next blog will be on the "Fairness Doctrine" and what will happen to our media as a result of it, join me next time, and be sure to send in your comments !
